After completing his undergraduate work at Cornell University, Dr. Jon completed his DVM degree at Cornell University in 1988.
In addition to his regular veterinary practice Dr. Jon also specializes in dairy nutrition.
Beyond balancing rations with the twin goals of favorable income over feed costs and optimum milk production Jon also supervises nutrition-related activities such as forage sampling, feed inventory management, BHBA monitoring, TMR audits, TMR management (load sheets, in-house dry matters, Penn State particle separation and urine pH testing for anionic salts rations)
